If you have already rented an apartment at one of our buildings, the
information on this page will help make you move-in easier.
First, contact your manager to confirm your move-in date and set up a
move-in appointment. Use the phone numbers at the bottom of our home page, or email.
Second, if you're moving into the Century Plaza, Park Plaza, Park Court or
V.I.P. Apartments, you may need to contact local utility companies and open an
account.
For electric utility service, contact Austin
Energy at 512-494-9400 (the City of Austin Electric Utility
Department). We request that you start your electric service several days
before your arrival so we can inspect your apartment and make sure your air
conditioning and other appliances are operating properly. Their hours are
Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. They do not work on
weekends. Residents of the Century Plaza do not need to contact Austin
Energy.
Wireless broadband internet service is now available at
the Century Plaza, Park Plaza and Park Court Apartments from Matrix Networks beginning at $29.95 a month. All you need is a wireless card in your
laptop, PC or Mac. You can contact Matrix Networks online at matrixnetworks.com, by
phone at 503-654-3000, or by email at sales@mtrx.com. You can also purchase their service by logging on to their splash page after you arrive.
For telephone and DSL service, contact SBC
Southwestern Bell at 800-464-7928. It may take them several days to start
your service.
For cable TV and cable modem service, contact Time
Warner Cable at 512-485-6000.
Third, make sure you leave a change-of address card with you local
mailperson so your mail will be forwarded to your new address.
